When visitors to the site leave a comment, we collect the data visible in the commenting form as well as the IP address of the visitor and the signature of his browser as an aid for detecting spam.

An anonymized string of characters created based on your email address (the so-called hash) can be sent to Gravatar to check if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After confirming the comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you are a registered user and upload images you should avoid sending images with EXIF location tags. Visitors to the site can download and read the full location data from the images on the site.

If you leave a comment on our website, you will be able to choose the option of saving your name, email address and website address in cookies, so that you don’t need to supply them again. These cookies expire after a year.
